The Parker Family invites you to enjoy the wines of Melrose Vineyards. They are located near Roseburg on a bench of the South Umpqua River. They strive for small berries that concentrate the flavors to give Melrose wine a fullness of bouquet, body and flavor unique to the vineyard.
This Estate bottle of Dolcetto wine was grown during one of the warmest seasons in the past decade. The “Little Sweet One” achieves ripe flavors resembling a medley of cherries, and other red fruits. It has a soft mouthfeel of supple tannins. Melrose Vineyards’ achieved a fruit forward style by aging this Dolcetto for 5 months in French Oak Barrels. The bright acidity allow for extended cellaring and being food friendly. They recommend pairing with most Italian cuisine and braised meats.
