Dolcetto
The wines are characterized particularly by their low acidity, which is the source of the variety's name, meaning "little sweet one". Soft and fruity, nearly always has a deep ruby and purple color, aromatics of blackberry, plum and spice with some distinctive flavors of licorice, blackberry and almond.
Sourced from a single site in the Eola-Amity Hills, destemmed, and limited skin maceration to make for a lighter, prettier expression of the traditionally fuller structured Italian counterparts.
